Piedmont StairWorks believes that a detailed process is the beginning to a successful stair project. We utilize the latest software, a customized quoting system and a proven scheduling process, so you can rest assured that your staircase project will be given the appropriate attention from start to finish.
Our process includes the following steps:

  1. Design
  2. Parts Selections
  3. Quote Approval
  4. Site Visit
  5. Stair Install
  6. Rail Install

The journey begins with the design phase, where architects or designers work closely with clients and our sales team to determine the style, dimensions, and materials of the staircase, tailoring the design to fit the specific needs and space requirements.

Once the design is finalized, the next step is parts selection, where the appropriate materials—such as wood, steel, or glass for the treads and risers, and various options for railings—are chosen to match the design specifications and desired finish.

Following this, a quote approval is provided, outlining the cost of materials, labor, and any additional features. This quote ensures that the project remains within budget before moving forward.

Next, a site visit is conducted to assess the actual space where the staircase will be installed, allowing for precise measurements and any necessary adjustments to the design based on site-specific conditions.

With all preparations in place, the stair install process begins. Skilled installers assemble and secure the staircase according to the design plans, ensuring all components are accurately fitted and safely anchored.

Finally, the rail install phase involves adding the railing system, which provides both safety and a finishing touch to the staircase. This step completes the project, ensuring that the staircase is both functional and aesthetically pleasing and ready for paint or stain.
